About us
Eggox is made by Eggvelop, a small team in Denmark. We make the tools and the ground to stand on. Players make the rest.
Tavi: We made the ground. You make the rest.
What we hold to
Players make the world
We built the quay so there's somewhere to arrive. Every house, hat and experience after it is made by the people who play, from the same little cubes.
Drawing is free
Blueprints, the Studio, every draft and your own spaces cost nothing, so try things and change your mind. Publishing a finished design and land in the world cost Voxels, and we always show what Voxels cost in real money.
Your name stays on your work
Everything you make carries your name. And a design belongs to one blueprint: an exact copy of your frames won't save.
Trading, never gambling
What's in your bag is yours: collect it, wear it, trade it. Nothing we sell is random, and betting things on chance isn't allowed. Our standpoint.
Checked adults meet
Anyone can build in spaces of their own. Chat, friends and the shared world are for players 18 and over, and everyone checks their age once before they can talk to anyone.
Meet Pip and Tavi
Pip is a hatchling lizard who still wears the top of the eggshell. Pip gets excited, asks the questions you're thinking, and points at things.
Tavi is an egg who knows every corner of the place. Tavi answers in one line, then shows you.
They live in their space on our front page. Click them and they'll answer.
In beta
Eggox works and people play it, but it's new. While we're in beta it's invite-only, things change often, and some corners are still rough.
Tell us what's rough. We hang out on Discord with the players: say hello, show what you made, and tell us what you'd like next.
Pip: Is it finished?
Tavi: Nope. That's the fun part.
Get in touch
For anything that isn't a chat on Discord, like trouble with your account, a question about your data, or press, write to us at hello@eggox.net. It goes straight to the team.
