GO SOMEWHERE: the Navigator
Every public place, and who's there.
What it is
Click GO SOMEWHERE in the bottom row and the Navigator opens: a list of places you can go to right now, with a count of who's there. It's deliberately not a map. There is no minimap in Eggox; the names people give their places are the map.
The three tabs
- PUBLIC The places the world itself runs: the spawn quay. The front door.
- ALL Every gate anyone has placed and listed, in the world or in their space, 30 to a page. The ones that let nobody in come last.
- MINE Your spaces first, then your own gates out in the world, listed or not. The ride home.
Searching
Type a word into the search box and the list narrows to places whose name contains it, or whose owner's name does, or the name of the space they stand in. Search for a player and you see every place of theirs. People call a place "market", "cafe" or "pvp arena", and searching that word is how anyone finds it. Name your gate for what it is!
Arriving
Click a place and you're there, standing at its waygate. Some gates ring first (the owner decides), some want a password, some are locked. The list tells you which before you click.
